The Effects of Heavy Traffic Congestion

Temperatures are climbing and traffic is at a seasonal high due to popular vacation months. Delays, congestion, stress, road rage, construction and vacation traffic mixed with daily commuters is a recipe for accidents. Unfortunately roadway incidents will happen frequently during these steamy months and some will be worse than others. These traffic incidents almost always include other vehicles and if some are transporting hazardous or non-hazardous fluids it’s likely that there will be rollovers and spills. When this happens and Tri State is dispatched to the scene, we work hand in hand with local authorities, motorists, firemen, EMT, and NYS DEC to ensure the spill is handled properly and is carried out conforming to all regulatory protocols. All motorists should practice safety during these moths as well as avoid driving while tired, keep 100% of your attention on driving, don't allow children to fight or climb around in your car, pull over to eat or drink (it takes only a few minutes), don’t use your phone or any other electronic device while driving and lastly always use caution when changing lanes, cutting in front of someone, changing lanes too fast or not using your signals may cause an accident. Tri State’s Emergency response telephone numbers are staffed 24 hours a day in order to provide prompt response and to ensure client's peace of mind.
